YPL is Your Partner for Life. This catchy phrase lives in the Library’s Strategic Plan to guide the library in deciding how to serve the people of Yonkers. Breathtakingly broad, and stunningly simple. To deliver on a promise this bold, YPL needs support beyond the generous support allocated by the City of Yonkers each year.

That’s where you come in! Your support and donations to the Foundation for the Yonkers Public Library lets YPL programming be much bolder and broader than would be possible otherwise.

Because of your support last year, FYPL helped YPL deliver:

• Born to Read: Welcoming Yonkers’ newest readers with 500 library kits for newborns and their families at St. John’s Riverside Hospital.

• Homework Help: Providing 1,260 hours of academic support to kids and teens across all branches.

• Senior Programming: Enriching lives through lifelong learning, technology help, and community connection.

In the year ahead, we’ll keep building on this momentum, continuing beloved programs and launching new ones, including a performing arts series and an expansion of sensory materials to ensure everyone belongs. Thank you for being our partner – for life.
