Kofi Sansculotte

Kofi is a former federal prosecutor, who now serves as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County. Kofi practically grew up in the libraries of Brooklyn, New York. It was there that he fell in love with Wole Soyinka’s plays and James Baldwin’s essays. He credits those libraries with encouraging his love of learning and curiosity about the world beyond Brooklyn. Kofi believes that great public libraries and public schools are essential to a functioning democracy. He lives in Fleetwood with his wife.
