Anietra is the Senior Director of Youth & Family Programs at Family Service Society of Yonkers where she oversees programs aimed at improving children's academic outcomes and nurturing healthy families. Prior to entering the non-profit sector, she spent nearly two decades in brand management, licensing and marketing. She is an innovative business professional who developed and managed high profile consumer products programs for brands such as Yu-gi-oh!, The World of Eric Carle, OLIVIA and Kellogg’s. Anietra is also a former Trustee of the Yonkers Public Library. 

 

The public library has been a friend to Anietra her entire life, with happy memories dating back to her youth, of visits to borrow her next big adventure. Access to free books, like Amelia Bedelia and A Wrinkle in Time, fostered her love of reading, broadened her world view and defined the importance of the public library system to the communities they serve. Anietra and her husband are proud to raise their library-loving twin daughters in Yonkers.
